Chairman of the Headmaster Working Group (K3S) private Palembang, Rosyidi said that public interest to send their children in private high school (SMA) in Palembang city is still minimal, so his side took the initiative to create a strategy to build public interest to be better and willing to entrust his child in private high school. According to him, one cause of the lack of interest is because the facilities are still fairly minimal.

He said, one of the programs owned by K3S private SMA Palembang City is to improve the facility and school quality and it is expected that private SMA in Palembang City can perform Computer Based National Examination (UNBK) in 2018 as a whole.

The Government of Tangerang City, Banten, realized their promise. Starting the academic year 2017/2018, the municipal government eliminated monthly SPP fees on 96 private junior high schools (SMP) in the area.

Tangerang City Mayor Arief R Wismansyah advised parents whose children were not accepted in public junior high schools could choose one of the 96 private junior high schools. He stated that Tangerang City Government has coordinated with 96 private junior high schools related to monthly funding of SPP for students in the school.
