Along with economic development and national industry is rapidly increasing, and in line with government programs to encourage the development of the National Innovation System (SIN), then the demand for audit services and technology began to grow increasingly necessary. Therefore, BPPT initiative to build container technology in the form of the auditors Auditors Association of Technology Indonesia (IATI), as one step to strengthen the audit function of technology. BPPT has the authority to conduct audits of technology, and currently has 30 people BPPT qualified auditors.

In the future not just BPPT authorized to audit services technology, but other services auditors can also perform an audit. IATI, expected to become partners of government, in order to establish an audit system. So the company also services other auditors, the right to issue certificates.
