The protection of employment social security is important for every worker in Indonesia without exception. It is the right of the workers and the obligation for employers to register their employees into the basic protection program organized by the BPJS Employment.

Through the signing of a memorandum of understanding between BPJS Employment and Indonesian Notary Association (INI), it is expected that notary members and employees under it are covered by social security insurance BPJS Employment.

The Director of BPJS Employment, Agus Susanto, said the commitment to social security of labor is given to some 16,000 notary members from INI and also employees who work in notary offices. The social security coverage provided includes all guarantee programs from BPJS Employment, namely Work Accident Insurance (JKK), Old Age Security (JHT), Death Insurance (JKm), and Pension Assurance (JP).
