Premium taxi operator, White Horse executive Taxi, intends to enlarge its market share to control 25% of the premium taxi market in Indonesia. The target is expected to be achieved this year as well. To increase the market share, a subsidiary of PT Panorama Transport Corporation will increase their investment by Rp.60 billion. This capital will be used to add 200 new taxi fleet units. With the addition of a new fleet, a total fleet of taxis owned by White Horse premium amounted to 400 units. I don't know what this means. The arrival of this fleet will be phased 200 units each year until 2015.
Tighter taxi business, Orenz rely on convenience: http://www.kabarbisnis.com/read/2819084/29 March 2011

Transportation service business in Surabaya, particularly taxis, is very prospective. The economy keeps growing communities need convenient transportation services. Not surprisingly, the company continues to boost taxi services.

Factors that also encourage the growth of taxi business in Surabaya are the limited reach of public transport such as buses or public transportation. Taxi business competition will be more led to compete in convenience and service offerings. Competitions in the tariff rates are irrelevant because the limit is set by the government.
