PT Pertamina Lubricants intends to explore strategic cooperation to expand lubricant oil exports of a subsidiary of PT Pertamina. Vice President of Sales & Marketing - Overseas PT Pertamina Lubricants, Arifun Dhalia said, currently the company has expanded to 14 countries and has 16 lubricant distributors overseas. For global penetration, incentive to explore strategic cooperation by applying multidistributorship.

He hopes to continue to carry Pertamina and Indonesia's name to the global realm and convince the world's consumers that the quality of indigenous Indonesian products is unquestionable, especially for the lubricant sector. Vietnam is one of the countries that became the lubricant oil market of Pertamina Lubricants. All lubricant product variants for the automotive and industrial segment have just finished exhibiting at the exhibition titled "Remarkable Indonesian Products Display," in Da Nang, Vietnam on Thursday to Sunday (9-12/11/2017).

So far, lubricants are already present in Vietnam through cooperation with local distributors. Through expansion and cooperation with distributors, opportunities will be wider and penetration will be more intense. One of the penetration efforts that has been done is entering Vietnam market for cement sector, plywood, and transportation.

Pertamina Marketing Operation Region (MOR) V is pursuing LPG sales of 5.5 kg packs of 50,000 units in East Java, Bali and Nusa Tenggara, until the end of 2016.

Operation Area Manager of Domestic Gas Region V Nyoman Sumarjaya said that until now Bright Gas 5.5 kg as one of the products of non-subsidized LPG has sold 34,500 units, while the trade in as many as 31,500 tubes. This sales target is not large because the LPG 5.5 kg sales program is still relatively new so it needs to be socialized about the program. The most effective way, through a tube exchange program, the two tubes of LPG 3 kg replaced with a 5.5 kg LPG tube plus Rp100.000.

Since its launch in August 2016, the sales of Bright Gas 5.5 kg in Malang City, Malang Regency and Batu City have increased by 175%. This prompted Pertamina to continue its penetration by expanding the non-subsidized LPG sales network in Batu City so as to reach an increasingly wider community.
