PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST) began expanding into the construction services sector specifically dredging and reclamation. This expansion is done to strengthen businesses that want to start focusing on infrastructure projects.
The expansion was done by cooperating with Dredging International Asia Pacific Pte, Ltd. Both have formed a joint venture on October 9, 2017, namely PT Dredging International Indonesia.
The joint venture will be engaged in dredging construction, land preparation, non-fishery port construction, water resource infrastructure construction and tunnel construction.

Minister of Rural Development Rural and Transmigration (Kemendes) committed to expanding the new transmigration land as a substitute food land productive in Java that keep dwindling.
Related to the expansion of clearing land for resettlement and the construction of new villages outside Java, the Ministry of Rural they will coordinate with the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as other relevant ministries.
Of that, the President has asked 17 ministries to support Kemendes and Transmigration. The transmigration program and the construction of new villages outside Java is currently the main focus in the ministry (Kemendes).
