PT. PAL INDONESIA (Persero) Implement First Steel Cutting Oil Tanker Order PT.Pertamina LTDW 17,500 (Persero): July 2011

PT. PAL INDONESIA (Persero) regained the trust of PT. Pertamina (Persero) to build tankers LTDW 17,500. July 6, 2011, in doing First Steel Cutting Workshop held at the merchant ship Fabriksi Division PT. PAL Indonesia (Persero). For the implementation of the development of PT. PAL Indonesia (Persero) in cooperation with PT. High Speed Shipyard (HSS), Tanker 17 500 LTDW is built on the basis of NK-class Japanese and use the double hull construction which is scheduled to be delivered in late 2012.

In the future the ships operating in Indonesian waters that was built in the country will support the growth & development of the National Maritime industry whose role in saving foreign exchange.
PAL INDONESIA Launches Landing Platform Dock Hull No. W000239 Ship:, 28 August 2008

PAL Indonesia launched the Landing Platform Dock ordered by the Defense Ministry. The order is considered as a manifestation of Presidential Decree No. 5/2005 in regards to supporting the maritime industry of Indonesia. To build to ship, PAL Indonesia partnered with Daewoo International Corporation.
