Private contractor, PT Jaya Konstruksi Manggala Pratama Tbk. (JKON), increase the capital of its subsidiary, PT Jaya Beton Indonesia (JBI), worth 40 billion through new share issuance mechanism. President Director of Jaya Konstruksi Sutopo Kristanto said the company took a share of Jaya Beton Indonesia shares of 40 million shares with a value of Rp40 billion. The shares are new shares issued by Jaya Beton Indonesia.

Based on Jaya Konstruksi's annual report in 2016, JBI's activities focus on the production and trading of all building use items made from concrete mixtures as well as carrying out construction work on buildings and roads. JBI built 4 concrete factories in several strategic locations to support its business activities.

PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP) posted operating revenues of Rp.743.9 billion in the first nine months of 2021. The main driver of the company's revenue is still supported by precast products.

Based on the interim financial report on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Wednesday (1/12/2021), this subsidiary of PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT) until the third quarter of 2021 has earned revenue of Rp. 743.9 billion or 48% lower compared to revenue. in the same period the previous year amounted to Rp. 1.43 trillion.

Waskita Beton President Director Moch. Holis Prihanto said that the factory divestment is one of the company's business transformation programs to support the company's liquidity while saving working capital and optimizing assets. "The divestment proceeds will be used to fulfill obligations to creditors in the context of restructuring," Holis explained to Investor Daily.
