General Chairperson of the Indonesian Ceramics Association (Asaki) Edy Suyanto expressed optimism that the target for a 15 percent growth in ceramic production volume in Indonesia this year will range from 475 to 480 million m2. "The production target is 475 -480 million m2 and the utilization rate is 85 percent. Based on annual trends, he continued, the peak season for the surge in ceramic demand is expected to occur in the second semester of 2022. "Yes, because the property is weakened so demand also slowed; in essence, still growing but slowing, "said Elisa, Thursday (29/05/2014).

Despite slowing growth, the ceramic industry is ready to face the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015 along with the implementation of the standardization of ceramic products are sold in Indonesia.
