Miscellaneous Industry Association Chairman and Ceramics Indonesia (Asaki) reveal that the energy problem is inhibiting investment in the ceramic industry sector. There are two investors who are interested to invest. The investment value of each producer is no more than $ 30 million, that's just for the manufacturer only. The production capacity of each company is approximately 500 thousand-800 thousand pieces per month, also there is a manufacturer of ceramics from China, namely Guangdong Oulu Sanitary Ware Co. Ltd. Which is still waiting for the certainty of supply of gas. Gas supply is a problem which drives the illegal entry of imported ceramics.
