That number increased compared to the 2008-2009 period, reaching only 75.1%. The data shows the trend of imports of leather products Australia as a whole increased by approximately 10.5% during the 2009-2013 period. Indonesia's own ranks 9th as exporters of leather-based products, such as handbags, luggage and the like, to Australia, however, the average growth of products imported from Indonesia over the past five years was the highest at 22.1%. This indicates RI leather products have very bright prospects in the Australian market.
