Pelindo II Build Integrated Industrial Zone with Ports: September 2017

PT Pelindo II Bengkulu Province immediately begin the development of an integrated industrial park with the Port of Baai Island, which is called the Integrated Industrial Port of Baai Island, which is planned to be operational in 2019 along with the steam power plant. This was conveyed by General Manager of PT Pelindo II Bengkulu, Drajat Sulistyo.

Currently the plan is already in the feasibility test phase, and Drajat hopes that Tasks Executor of Governor of Bengkulu, Rohidin Mersyah, will immediately provide development recommendations. In the first phase of the area to be built covering 215 hectares, and the next stage of 700 hectares. Now the region's economy is dominated by the consumption sector of both households and local governments, on the other hand the local natural commodities have been exported only in the form of raw materials, there has been no derivative industry production.
