RI Want to Have Noodles Factory in Russia: - 26 June 2012

The Indonesian government led by Coordinating Minister Hatta Rajasa did the Joint Commission Meeting with the Russian government. One that explored is the development of instant noodle factory in Russia. Russian wheat production is potentially huge for cultivation by the industry in Indonesia, especially the instant noodle industry. Development of instant noodle factory in Russia is going to reduce Indonesia's wheat imports valued at U.S. $ 3 billion per year.

Instant noodles become the most popular consumer products in Indonesia. According to research Worldpanel Indonesia, Indomie and Mie Sedaap ranked first and second in the industry brands in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG).

Fanny Murhayati, New Business Development Director Worldpanel Indonesia said that the Indonesian consumer is the busiest consumer if the consumer compared with other countries. During the year, Indonesian consumers can shop 400 times, or about 31 times a month. It shows how menggiurkannya FMCG market conditions.

"Instant noodles desirable because the Indonesian people like the fast-food products and more practical. In addition iu wide distribution. Almost every shop selling Indomie noodles or Sedaap," said Fanny in KONTAN, Friday (06/13/2014).

In addition because the distribution range is very broad brand, promotion and innovation carried out are very diverse, ranging from advertising to diverse flavor variations.
