Cut Barbershop has taken a roadside barber up to class by presenting a male-only salon. During the World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE) event, the barbershop from Banjarmasin offered free haircuts. Operational Manager of Cut Barbershop, Agus Setiawan, said that Indonesia had long had many barbers in the shop or roadside. But over time, Cut Barbershop was displaced by barbershops from abroad.
For six years, Cut Barbershop currently has 80 employees and spreads in 11 cities in Indonesia. The spread is done by opening their own outlets or franchises. Through participation in the WCCE event, this Barbershop wants to expand its business overseas to meet overseas investors. Also, accentuates Indonesian culture through the selection of uniforms with batik patterns from various regions. It also continues to innovate to add services, such as shoe polish or shoe washing, back massage, to launch the Cut Barbershop application on Playstore. The application makes it easy for customers to order a haircut without queuing.
