Barbershop Business Optimistic Grows by 30%: http://industri.kontan.co.id/news/bisnis-barbershop-optimistis-tumbuh-30/27 July 2017
The Indonesian Barbershop Association believes the growth of the haircut business to grow 30% by 2017. It is also a challenge for the hair styling industry to be able to expand its wings in the international arena. Chairman of Indonesian Barbershop Association Ade Farolan said, optimistic barbershop business in Indonesia will continue to grow because almost all circles of society have been concerned about the appearance of hair, especially including men.

With the development of hairstyle trends, Ade believes that barbershop business actors will continue to grow. In 2016, there are about 4,000 to 5,000 barbershop brands in Indonesia. In 2017, the brand will grow 20% -30%. However, there are some challenges to be faced by barbershop business actors, such as knowledge of hair trends, barbershop attitude, and consumer perceptions of barbershop conditions.
