Surabaya Zoo (KBS) received permission of conservation organizations from the Ministry of Forestry, which enables it to manage and build the appropriate principles of animal welfare.
Forestry Minister Zulkifli Hasan handed the license received by the Mayor of Surabaya Tri Rismaharini. Zulkifli said the permit was issued after seeing various repairs and arrangement of Surabaya City Government as the new management of KBS.
