Island Concepts (ICON) Relying on Catering Businesses in The Next Year: https://industri.kontan.co.id/news/island-concepts-icon-andalkan-bisnis-katering-tahun-depan/14 December 2018

PT Island Concepts Indonesia Tbk (ICON) will further boost the catering business next year through its subsidiary PT Patra Supplies and Services (PSS) because the business requires less capital than the development of the property business. While the property business is still sluggish in the Bali region.

Independent Director of ICON, Triyono said that with a smaller capital, developing a catering business would not burden the company's finances. Next year, PSS will get two new contracts in the catering business so that the number of contracts which are served is estimated to be 18 spread across 19 locations. It's just that, there are two old contracts that they handle next year so that revenue from this business is predicted to temporarily decline from this year. ICON targets revenue of Rp.129 billion next year from the catering business, down from the estimated revenue of Rp.140 billion in 2018.

In the future, ISS Catering Service will develop markets for hospitals, international schools, and cafeterias in offices away from malls as one of the office facilities. This is evidenced by a number of international standard food safety requirements, including ISO 9001: Quality Management Sytem, ISO 14001: Environmental Management, ISO 22000: Food Safety, OHSAS 18001, SMK3, Halal Certificate, and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
