PT Satya Agrindo Perkasa targets to increase the sales of bio-organic fertilizer or NPK which has organic and biological elements to palm oil companies. The use of compound fertilizers rated 30-50 percent more efficient than if the plantation companies to use a single chemical fertilizers.

Juswar Halim, Managing Director Satya Agrindo revealed in addition to more efficient use of bio-organic fertilizer can also improve soil structure. Satya Agrindo called Cleaver Agri in cooperation with PT. Mulia in producing bio-organic fertilizer NPK Hi-Grade and Haramax.

PT. Pupuk Indonesia recorded sales of 8,956 million tons during the period from January to September 2018, growing by around 7 percent compared to the same period the previous year. Pupuk Indonesia's Managing Director, Aas Asikin Sidat, said that fertilizer sales for the PSO sector, namely the distribution of subsidized fertilizers to the food crop sector, until now, has reached 6,633,982 tons, an increase of more than 300 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.

The company continues to prioritize fertilizer needs for food in securing the needs of farmers and the distribution of subsidized fertilizers is increasingly effective and accepted by farmers who have the right to obtain it. Fertilizer sales in Indonesia increased, among others, supported by an increase in export sales by 60 percent to USD 332 million in the third quarter of 2018, compared to the acquisition in the same period in 2017. The Company's exports consist of 770 thousand tons of fertilizer and 439 thousand tons of ammonia.
