In fact, mini market now stands regardless of ambient conditions near the traditional market or a traditional store. The presence of modern retail business became serious rivals to the traditional market; moreover, with service and professional management. It causes narrowing of traditional market share. No doubt, the destruction of people's economy a matter of time if there is no protection against the growing of mini market business. Poverty hikes will not be unstoppable due to many traditional traders or shop owners, and kiosks are bankrupt.

On the other hand, the modern market at hypermarkets scale foreign-owned and conglomerates nationalist shirted increasingly "like octopus" and its expansion seemed unbearable. The goal is obvious, that is displacing the role and functions of traditional markets which have been relied small traders and their families.

Therefore, the city administration will not only discipline mini market. Economic and Administrative Assistant DKI Jakarta, Hasan Basri Saleh said, as many as 661 suspected illegal mini markets because it operates after the Governor issued Instruction (Ingub) No.115/2006 dated 13 November 2006 concerning Licensing Delays mini market.

Vice Chairman of Kadin Indonesia Field of Trade, Distribution, and Logistics Benny Soetrisno said the expansion is done the owner of modern retail is a form of capitalist greed. Lunge kick modern large-scale retailers are the result of the absence of government rules and alignments of small traders. In fact, these small traders can only earn a fortune from the domestic market.
