The Association of Indonesian (Modern) Retailers (Aprindo) has established partnerships with businessmen of food stalls. In that program, modern retailers provide access to food stalls so they can get goods at cheaper prices. This is to emphasize that retail has never monopolized the market, it supports the progress of stalls so that both grow. This was conveyed by the Chairman of Aprindo, Roy Mandey.
According to him, the cooperation between modern retailers with traditional stores has actually lasted long. In fact, there are already more than 1,000 food stalls built by Aprindo. And now will be more formalized in the form of partnership program, which will also be supported by banks that will provide access to capital for small stalls.
