Toy Products Made in Indonesia Attract the World's Interest, Exports Translucent USD 383 Million: https://kemenperin.go.id/artikel/23767/Produk-Mainan-Buatan-Indonesia-Diminati-Dunia,-Ekspor-Tembus-USD-383-Juta/9 December 2022

Indonesia has a variety of potential manufacturing industries with promising exports, one of which is the toy industry. For this reason, the Ministry of Industry is trying to maintain a conducive business climate in the development of the toy industry ecosystem so that more medium and large scale companies are globally competitive so that the trend of increasing exports continues.

The Ministry of Industry noted that the export value of the national toy industry reached USD 383 million during January-September 2022, up 29.83 percent compared to the same period the previous year of USD 295 million. "Until now, the main export destinations for Indonesian toys include the United States, Singapore, Britain, China and Germany," said the Director General of Small, Medium and Multifarious Industries (IKMA) Reni Yanita in her remarks representing the Minister of Industry at the Production Line Expansion event and PT Mattel Indonesia's 30th Anniversary Celebration in Cikarang, West Java, Thursday (8/12).
More than a year down, this year's toy sales can increase by 5 percent: https://ekbis.sindonews.com/read/617559/34/setahun-lebih-tiarap-tahun-ini-penjualan-mainan-bisa-naik-5-persen-1638519130/3 December 2021

The performance of the national children's toy industry shows a positive trend. The Indonesian Toy Entrepreneurs Association (APMI) is optimistic that sales of children's toys can increase by 5% in 2021. "Our target is to increase sales by 5% from last year and this is almost close to the target," said APMI Wooden Toys Division Chair Winata Riangsaputra in Market Review IDX Channel, Friday (12/3/2021).

Currently sales of children's toys are entering peak season after nearly two years of being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Demand for exports to several countries also began to show an increase.
