Worried of drag harvest, cigarette industry could add tobacco import this year: April 2011

Domestic cigarette industry in anticipation of this year's tobacco crop. Because the erratic weather makes tobacco farmers did not dare target the number of harvests heroics. In 2010 national tobacco production is only 80,000 tons, whereas the needs of the national tobacco as much as 240,000 tons.

One precaution is mixing local tobacco with the supply of imported tobacco that is usually for the needs of the industry for three to four years into the future. The needs of imported tobacco only 10% of cigarette production, especially clove cigarettes.
