Non-hybrid seed production will be reduced because of the difficulty buyers. Seed producers owned PT. Sang Hyang Seri (Persero),claims will reduce non-hybrid seed production starting this year. 70% non-hybrid seed market that the government bought for agricultural programs. However, the recent purchase of seeds by the process more complicated and difficult for them. Although the production of non hybrid derived, on the other hand they increase the production of hybrid seed. Moreover, from the business side, the price of hybrid seeds seeds are much more attractive than non-hybrid seeds.

Tanah Datar regency government urged people to put in an integrated rats pest control, by performing simultaneous movement of rice to suppress the number of spread of rats. With this program, should be able to anticipate wider pest rats and can improve crop productivity.
