Exclaimed Hunting of Home Appliances at Glodok: http://www.viva.co.id/gaya-hidup/inspirasi-unik/953488-serunya-berburu-aneka-perkakas-rumah-tangga-di-glodok/5 September 2017

The Glodok area, West Jakarta, has long been well-known as a center of trade, offering a wide range of goods, ranging from a variety of electronic devices to home furnishings. Lately, it was rumored that the Glodok area began deserted by abandoned visitors. Some kiosks are also reported to be closed. This is allegedly due to the declining purchasing power of the Indonesian people, who are partially switching to choosing online shopping.

However, it turns out that not all areas in Glodok are deserted by visitors. Glodok's Lindeteves Trade Center (LTC), which sells a number of household utensils and appliances, is still quite crowded. Hendry Trie Asmoni Manager of Advertising & Promotion said that Glodok area is wide and maybe that so far practically deserted Glodok City, which sells electronics. Every day there are around 50 thousand visitors who come and hunt household utensils in LTC Glodok, with the value of transactions made at least about Rp.1 billion per day.

LTC Glodok has thousands of sellers, so potential buyers can compare, price and quality between one store with another.
