The Ministry of Agriculture began spurring soybean production to achieve self-sufficiency target in 2018, through the addition of planting area and gradually reducing soybean imports. The new planting area expansion is 500,000 ha with budget allocation of Rp.661 billion in Revised APBN 2017, up from the 2017 APBN of 210,000 ha with budget allocation of Rp270 billion. So the total new cultivation area in 2017 is 710,000 ha, up from 2016 of 210,000 ha. Furthermore, a new planting area is proposed 1.5 million ha with a budget allocation of Rp1.3 trillion in RAPBN 2018. Budget allocation in the form of fertilizer, seed, and Rhizobium aid for new planting area. Meanwhile, the self-supporting cultivation area of farmers is 300,000 ha. Head of Soybean Sub-Directorate of the Ministry of Agriculture Mulyono said planting in the new planting area in October 2017 and the productivity of 1.5 tons per ha will boost production increase in 2018 by 2.9 million tons. Meanwhile, the total national demand for soybean is 2.4 million tons. The government also cooperates with universities in applying soybean technology to achieve productivity of 2.5 tons - 3 tons per ha.

The existence of Waste Water Installation in industrial centers and tofu are still very limited. Industrial centers of Tofu in Kalisari, Cilongok and industrial centers of tempeh in Pliken, Kembaran, each just have single installation of Wastewater.

Head of the Environment Agency (BLH) Banyumas, Dwi Pindarto, said in Kalisari alone there are at least 200 heads of household who are tofu. "We will try to add Installation Wastewater industrial district tofu and tempeh," he said, Friday (26/9).

Because, according to him, tofu and tempeh industrial centers are located in the middle of residential areas. Thus, good waste management is not feared to cause damage to the surrounding environment.

"The industries of tofu generate waste, either solid or liquid. Wastewaters know can pollute waters in the region and endanger human health due to the liquid waste containing high organic matter, "he explained.

He said he would cooperate with BLH Central Java province to build a new wastewater treatment in industrial centers tofu Kalisari and tempeh Pliken industrial centers. The district government will provide land for the construction of waste water installation, while the physical construction of Waste Water Installation will be done province.
