Chairman of the Indonesian Engineers Association (PII) Dardak Herman said Indonesia still lacks many experts who can compete in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC).
AEC itself, in accordance with the agreement ASEAN countries, will begin in early 2016 or the next day. There is still a lack of expertise such as engineers called native Indonesia remains one obstacle.
PII future will make it easy for prospective engineers as well as in the certification process. Because the total engineer owned by Indonesia is only about 10 thousand people.

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) through the Directorate General of Teachers and Education Personnel (Ditjen GTK) in collaboration with the Teacher Professional Organization held a Public Test of the Teacher Code of Ethics in the context of preparing a draft of the Indonesian Teacher Code of Ethics.
Head of the General Section of the East Java Center for Activating Teachers, Sumadianto Affandi, said that the aim of the Public Testing of the Draft Teacher Code of Ethics was an effort to improve the formal and substantial material with various stakeholders. "The involvement of interested parties is intended to receive various input in the form of instruments according to various categories of questions and discussions," he said in his remarks at the opening in Surabaya on Tuesday (13/12).
The preparation of the Teacher Code of Ethics was facilitated by representatives of the Teacher Professional Organization who were members of the Working Team of 15 representatives of professional organizations who together prepared the draft. On the other hand, Sumadianto said that the formulation of this code of ethics aims to foster and increase responsibility and welfare for teachers. With the hope, teachers can synergize and collaborate with each other in carrying out their profession, including solving educational problems.
