AEC's face, RI Losing the amount of Engineers Malaysia : December 2015

Chairman of the Indonesian Engineers Association (PII) Dardak Herman said Indonesia still lacks many experts who can compete in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC).

AEC itself, in accordance with the agreement ASEAN countries, will begin in early 2016 or the next day. There is still a lack of expertise such as engineers called native Indonesia remains one obstacle.

PII future will make it easy for prospective engineers as well as in the certification process. Because the total engineer owned by Indonesia is only about 10 thousand people.
PGRI Asked to be set as a Profession Organization, 25 November 2014

Indonesian Teachers Association (PGRI) asked the government to establish the agency as a professional organization so that its role as a forum for teachers can get more leverage in improving the quality of education. If PGRI established as a professional organization, the partnership with the government during this run can be maximized in an effort to work together to improve the quality of teachers in the country.

Additionally PGRI asked the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education to involve PGRI in making policies related to teachers and education. PGRI as the largest teacher organization in the country has contributed along with the government to improve the quality of education by increasing the professionalism of teachers.
