Shelter House TKI which is managed by friends of Peduli Buruh Migran held a decade-long celebration on October 5, 2017. Since 2007, Shelter House TKI has provided shelter service for migrant workers and victims of trafficking. In the past 10 years, Shelter House has served approximately 3,000 victims in relieving their burdens.
In the moment of the decade, Peduli Buruh Migran would like to appreciate the cooperation with the support of various parties whether individuals, community leaders, government, private, organizations and the environment, and also believes that this partnership becomes one of the important aspects in the work of friends. The effort to build a drug rehabilitation center will cost quite a bit. However, by cooperating with the private sector, the construction of rehabilitation centers can be done. It is like what is done by the Province of Bali. That drug rehabilitation should be away from residential areas. Because, there should be special treatment for the addict recover from drug addiction.
