Vice President Boediono deplores the many research institutions and technologies in Indonesia are not mutually coordinated with each other. According to Vice President, if all agencies are coordinated, certainly good for the Indonesian investigators; the existence of facts, reality, where the capacity of science and technology (science and knowledge) are scattered everywhere and we cannot optimally coordinated to achieve common goals clear. Research capacity is scattered throughout the country, among others, LIPI, BPPT, R & D of various ministries, Bappeten, Batan, Lapan, and BSN.
BPS: Poverty Down but Inequality Rises: July 2011

The amount of poverty in Indonesia in March 2011 decreased by up to one million people, but society tends to increase income inequality. Based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics, gini ratio of 0.331 in 2010, down from last year amounted to 0.357. But the gini ratio decreased only in urban areas from 0.362 to 0.352 while in rural areas increased to 0.297 from 0.288.

Number of greatest poverty as much as 72 percent came from people living from agriculture and the income of the living from the countryside is still very low and stagnant. In addition, he warned that the number of poor people in Indonesia reached nearly 27.14 million or 11.29 percent of the entire population of Indonesia and it also should be wary.
