Bancassurance distribution channels (in collaboration with the banks) have the potential to be developed in order to extend the market life insurance industry. Bancassurance distribution channel is predicted to continue growing in 2011, given its effectiveness to improve insurance penetration.

Effectiveness was given the existence of banks in the financial industry in Indonesia, with an extensive network in various regions and proprietary customer data base is very strong, so that will make it easier for people to access available insurance products.

In addition, an extensive banking network is also considered able to suppress the investment that must be issued an insurance company, either to open a branch office or marketing in the region, as well as increasing the number of agents.
