Rural Banks (BPR) looked increasingly confident the growth rate of the banking industry in 2011. This follows the success of intermediation industry proven by achievements of Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) until penetrating above 80 percent.

Economic growth between 6.2 to 6.5 per cent would support the real sector to move, so it will increase savings as well as working capital requirements. This will increase the demand for microfinance services. That is why in 2011 the growth of BPR by 30 per cent will be achieved.

Bank Indonesia will implement its policy to convert BPR (People's Credit Bank) to Community Bank. Its range will be provincial.
