Rp.70 Billion, Capex of PT. Sepatu Bata Tbk.: jkt2.detikhot.com, 29 April 2008


PT. Sepatu Bata Tbk. estimated its capital expenditure in 2008 to reach Rp.70 billion. The fund will be used to consolidate and modernize its factory machines in Purwakarta, West Java. In addition, the fund will be used to develop shoe innovation center and also take care of licensing with its principal in Canada. BATA sells almost 12 million pairs of shoes in 2007. During that year, the company's sales rose by 15 percent, whilst the company's net profit increased by 71 percent.
