Gema Graha Wins US$ 1.8 Million Project: web.bisnis.com, 22 May 2008


PT. Gema Graha Sarana Tbk. has won the pitch of a US$ 1.8 million project to furnish Hotel Intercontinental Fiji, an island country in the Pacific Ocean. Based on the contract, the company is obliged to furnish the hotel's 277 rooms. Gema Graha is a manufacturer and distributor of furniture for commercial and residential needs. In addition, the company also provides interior design services. The company sells middle to upper class furniture through Vivere outlets and also exports them to the US and Singapore. Through its subsidiaries, the company also trades flooring. Gema Graha Sarana exports 20 percent of its flooring products to the US, Korea, Portugal, Spain, Malaysia and the Philippines. Soon, the company plans to start marketing its products in Dubai. This year, the company plans to push growth by 20 percent. In 2007 alone, the company booked an income of Rp.372.29 billion. The company's net profit in 2007 grew by 23.6 percent to Rp.8.38 billion.

The three subsidiaries of PT. Gema Grahasarana Tbk will share cash dividends to its shareholders. PT. Prasetya Gemamulia, its subsidiary, will share cash dividends as much as Rp.570 million and reserve their nets profit as withheld funds. PT. Lamitech Kreasi Sarana, another one of its subsidiaries, will share cash dividends worth Rp.280 million. Meanwhile, PT. Vivere Multi Kreasi will share dividends worth Rp.400 million.
