PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk. (PGAS) will spur performance in the fourth quarter of 2019 to pursue the company's target this year. Based on the financial statements for the first semester of 2019, PGAS posted revenues of US $ 1.78 billion, down 6.80% from US $ 1.91 billion in the same period last year. Net profit of US $ 54.04 million. This achievement was lower than US $ 179.38 million in the first semester of 2018.

President Director of Perusahaan Gas Negara, Gigih Prakoso Soewarto said that the decline in the company's performance during the period was due to external factors. In semester I / 2019 there was a decrease because supply from upstream was disrupted. However, the company's overall performance so far this year is still in line with the target set. PGAS will continue to improve financial performance in semester II / 2019 by increasing the volume of gas distribution and carrying out efficiency programs. In the fourth quarter of 2019, the company targets the distribution of gas to trade to reach around 950-970 Billion British Thermal Units per Day (BBTUD).
