Joint Commitment PLN With Development Partners To Conduct Electricity 2011: January 2011

Starting in 2011, PT. PLN (Persero), together with working partners reaffirmed their commitment to implement the Indonesian electricity development with higher quality, faster, more efficient, and free from corruption. Statements of this shared commitment will further spur the enthusiasm and hard work in completion of construction PLN power generation and transmission projects of 10,000 MW so that it can operate on time according to the expected target.

In 2011 as many as 7 generating part of 10,000 MW project on the Java island will begin to operate. So the system requires the transmission and substation reliable supply of 7 for this new generation can be distributed to customers of PLN. Eastern Indonesia also will get additional power from the generating capacity of 10,000 MW of projects outside Java.

Generation and transmission development aims to increase the installed power capacity in Indonesia. So that will gradually improve the quality, quantity and reliability of electricity supply in Indonesia.

Recently, State Electricity Company PT. PLN submitted its corporate social responsibility donation to the Mayor of Bekasi. PLN donated 16 room and 4 units of motorcycles to the Bantar Gebang Public Health Center. In addition, the company also donated 6 units of In Focus projector to a local high school.
