Financial crisis which wrapped around the PT. Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) since last year looked for a way out immediately. One of them by working with the Asset Managing Company PT (Persero). PPA will help restructure the business of PT. DI. The initial stage for capital, the funds disbursed PPA, PT. DI will give priority to the use for working capital and capacity expansion.

Currently, PT. DI have received a non-cash loan capital of U.S. $ 3 million of the BNI and U.S. $ 100 million from the BRI. But the capital was not all non-cash, there must be cash. To meet this cash capital needs to be developed by PPA.
PT. Dirgantara Indonesia Performs Maintenance for Oil Companies’ Airplanes:, 3 July 2009

BP Migas began involving PT. Dirgantara Indonesia to take care of the airplanes used by all oil companies in Indonesia. Involving PT. Dirgantara Indonesia is an actualization to the program encouraging Indonesians to support local products. Presently, 217 oil companies (60 of which are already operating) are making use of the 37 airplanes and helicopters for exploration activities.
