According to the Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry, Syarif Hidayat, the Ministry of Industry appreciates the investment industry components Air Conditioner (AC) by PT TD Automotive Compressor Indonesia (TACI) worth Rp1.15 trillion in MM2100 Industrial Estate Bekasi, West Java.
Syarif said that the automotive parts industry continues to grow in line with increased production and sales of vehicles in Indonesia. Government is very keen to encourage national automotive industry to boost the use of local components. Currently there are 1,500 automotive component company in Indonesia which is divided into Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3. The operation of the first plant of this TACI will make a significant contribution to the national economy as companies increase investment, employees, and increase the number of local component suppliers in the industrial production activities in the country. Syarif also asked TACI in order to continue to develop creativity and innovation through capacity building of local human resources to the maximum in production so that the product more competitive in the local and global markets.
