Approximately $ 1 billion investment fund to boost the industrial growth of the national heavy equipment up to nine percent. The growth of transport vehicles to the national heavy equipment industry will continue to increase, particularly for mining, agriculture and construction. , for 2011, heavy machineries sales are predicted to increase by 25 percent from the year 2010 which amounted to 8,000 units to 10 thousand units.

The growth could not be separated from economic growth that is still prospective, especially the growth in commodity prices; plus, the growth of construction and forestry.

Entering the fourth term of 2008, the heavy machinery industry faced a decline despite the increase it experienced from 2004 to the third term of 2008. The decline was caused by global economy downturn affecting the mining and plantation sectors, which are the main markets of Indonesia's heavy machinery industry.
