Government through the Ministry of Finance (PMK) 182 number 80/PMK.011/2011 to free tariff duties on the raw materials and capital goods as the revision number 241/PMK.011/2010 PMK.
The purpose of reduction of duty tariff on products which include the raw materials and capital goods for downstream industries that use raw materials and capital in order to produce a finished product more competitive.
Government in the issuance of PMK which came into force since 18 April 2011 is also raising eight postal duty tariff of consumer goods from 5 percent to 10 percent to protect the downstream industries that produce those products from the invasion of imported products.

Ministry of Industry will open the program restructuring of textile machinery and textile products manufacturing sector phase IV in 2010, starting this month. Textile machine restructuring program this year opened with machine rebate scheme for 10% of the value of investments made by machine manufacturer.
Industrial machinery restructuring program has been rolled out since 2007. However, in the period 2007 - 2008, new industrial machinery restructuring program intended for the textile sector. Since 2009 until this year, the program expanded into the industrial sector, footwear, leather and sugar.
