PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk. (AMFG) will soon be closing a sheet glass production factory located in Ancol, North Jakarta, with a capacity of 120,000 tons / year and replace it with a new factory with a capacity of 210,000 tons / year in Cikampek-Purwasari, West Java worth Rp.796.8 billion.
The company's management said the company plans to complete the new furnace with machines that can produce environmentally friendly glass sheets. The Company uses new technology from Asahi Glass Co. Ltd. (AGC), which is the main shareholder of the company with 43.86% ownership.
