Directorate General of Small and Medium Enterprises of the Ministry of Industry to provide assistance in the form of Essential oil refining tools to farmers in Solok, West Sumatra, the assistance given by the mayor of Solok, Irzal Ilyas, to farmers' groups Nilam Sari who is the perpetrator Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the agricultural sector in the Village Land salt

Indonesia is the biggest producer of patchouli essential oils in the world. However, it is precisely the gain on sale of essential oils has been enjoyed by Singapore. What causes it?

Indonesian Ambassador to Switzerland Djoko Susilo explained that Indonesia still rely on Singapore as an export destination patchouli essential oil products. As a result, Singapore set prices fairly low, but the origin of Indonesian patchouli essential oil is converted to value added products to Singapore, to be used as a perfume and pharmaceutical industries.

"So 90% of the world production of patchouli essential oil in Indonesia. But unfortunately that Singapore enjoys it. Because of the sale, which if it is Singapore," Djoko said during the discussion with the theme 'Finding the Leader Pro Farm' at Hotel Amaroossa, Bogor, Java west, Saturday (05/17/2014).
