Soft drink industry is more and more enthusiastic: November 2011

Local soft drink manufacturer and foreign manufacturer are competing to offer their reliable product. Therefore, the soft drinks market potential in Indonesia is quite promising. Recorded that soft drink market in Indonesia worth U.S. $ 6.5 billion, with total sales reaching 17.5 billion liters. By volume, bottled beverage controlled 83% of total sales of around 17.5 billion liters.

bottled beverage holds about 32% portion of the total value of sales. In total, the soft drink industry grew approximately 4.5% per year in volume for the next five years.
Coca-Cola Indonesia Supports Earth Hour 2011:, 2 April 2011

The Coca-Cola Company that has about 500 beverage brands all over the world on last March 23, do the blackout lights and electrical appliances that are not needed for an hour, beginning at 8:30 p.m. to 21:30 pm and is enforced at all company facilities that spread throughout the world.

Besides supporting Earth Hour which was initiated by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Coca-Cola is also encouraging its employees to do the same. This is one of the real form of Coca-Cola's efforts in reducing the impact of the company's operations to the environment

Since it began in 2007, Earth Hour admonition 2010 was recorded as the largest, followed by 128 countries and territories and The Coca-Cola Company participated in 52 countries in between.
