Bir Bintang beer producer, PT Multi Bintang Indonesia Tbk., focuses on low alcohol and nonalcoholic products as one of the company's future strategies.
Corporate Communication Manager Multi Bintang Indonesia Agnes Agastia said, currently the sales are still dominated by alcohol products. However, seeing changes in public beer consumption patterns and government-issued regulations, the company chose to focus on low-alcohol and nonalcoholic products.
The company also continues to educate the public about the differences in beer and liquor. In accordance with international provisions, liquor is a drink with alcohol content above 20%.

In non-alcoholic products, Multi Bintang carries the brands Green Sands and Fayrouz. They also have products with an alcohol content of 0.0%, namely Bintang Zero 0.0% and Bintang Maxx 0.0%. Public and Regulatory Affairs Manager of Multi Bintang Indonesia, Manorsa Tambunan said that currently Multi Bintang is preparing a new innovation of non-alcoholic products. This strategy is called beyond beer, meaning beer will still be relied on, but they will also penetrate non-beer ones.
