Bali Export Ornamental Fish total of 2.82 Million : February 2011

Delivery of marine fisheries is decreasing over the previous year which reached 13.5 million head valued at 4.7 million U.S. dollars, said Head of Fisheries and Maritime Province of Bali. The reduced merchandise export value of ornamental fish is due to various constraints, among other difficulties fishermen catch fish life due to less favorable weather.

Ornamental fish are caught in the waters of Bali, as well as other areas in Indonesia are exported from Bali to penetrate the Japanese market, the United States and Australia. Bali export of fishery and marine products worth 125.2 million U.S. dollars during 2009, an increase of 22.9 percent over the previous year which only 92.9 million U.S. dollars.
Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Revokes BASS Bankruptcy Demand:, 7 May 2009

The Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) has revoked its bankruptcy allegations towards PT. Bahtera Admina Samudera Tbk. (BASS). BASS has paid off its debt and penalty. BASS was declared bankrupt by IDX when it did not pay annual listing fee since 2007. The value was Rp.137.66 million (in addition to debt).
