Indonesia's poultry population pessimistic able to export processed chicken and eggs to Asia next year triggered a high residual value.
Chairman of the Indonesian Poultry Breeders Association (PPUI) Pulungan Ashwin claimed one of the triggers of high residual values because there are feedstuffs that meat bone meal (MBM) or meat meal, suspected to be used mostly farmers.
According to him, the use of MBM which is a substitute for fish to feed raw materials are difficult to detect against the farmers because there are quite a lot.
"The use of this MBM feared Indonesia would not be able to export processed chicken meat and eggs," he told Bisnis.com, Tuesday (10/28/2014).
