After 8 years of not sharing dividends, PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk will finally share its dividends at Rp.5 per share, a total of Rp.15.84 billion from last year’s net profit. In 2005, the company’s sales reached Rp.4.8 trillion with a gross profit of Rp.738 billion and a net profit of Rp.347 billion. This year, the company predicts sales will rise significantly by around 15-20 percent to Rp.5.52 trillion - Rp.5.76trillion. its net profit is predicted to be the same as 2005.

US$ 325 million raised from Gajah Tunggal’s bonds publication will be used to pay debt notes with floating rate notes. The company has agreed to follow the bonds publicated with 10.25 percent coupons, with settlement obligation for 2010. Before the company expands its business, it is obliged to settle its debts with A series and B series floating rate notes. During the dollar-denominated bonds publication, the company offered a 10.375 percent yield from the US$ 250 million bonds. Last year, the tire manufacturing company booked consolidated sales of Rp.6.8 trillion with net income of Rp.478 billion.
