PT Sido Muncul has decided to position jamu (traditional herbal medicine) as trustworthy alternative for medicines. Along with the positioning, the company started manufacturing Tolak Angin (for colds) and Kuku Bima (to enhance male sexual passion). To ensure its products potency in curing illnesses and enhance health, Sido Muncul holds scientific researches, toxicity and dosage testing in its research laboratory in Ungaran, Central Java. Presently, PT Sido Muncul holds 10 percent of the national herbal medicine industry. Overall, the herbal medicine market potential is only 10 percent of the national pharmaceutical market.

Kuku Bima Energi Provides Help for 1,000 Orphans in Makassar

PT Sido Muncul used its 55th anniversary fund to aid 8,000 orphans in a number of cities in Indonesia. So far, the company has allocated the fund to 1,072 orphans in 14 orphanages in Makassar. PT Sido Muncul’s General Director, Irwan Hidayat, submitted the Rp.100 million aid.
