Growth of Asia’s Air Transportation Declines

The growth of Asia Pacific’s air transportation has slightly declined in October due to rocketing price of fuel. Asia Pacific-based airlines companies, as for October 2005, took 72.7 percent of available seats, which was a 2 percent decrease compared to the previous year.
Korean Air and Asiana Airlines Delay Flights to Phuket

Two of the most well-known airlines in South Korean, Korean Air and Asiana Airlines, have decided to postpone their direct flights to Phuket, Thailand. Asiana had halted the flights indefinitely, while Korean Air decreased its flight frequency to Phuket.
