The revamp furnace project is entering the construction phase in the third quarter of 2018. It will be completed in the first quarter of 2020. This was stated by Chandra Asri Petrochemical Director, Suryandi.
The facility will increase the installed capacity of its ethylene products to 900,000 thousand tons per year, currently at 860,000 tons per year. In addition, the facility will also increase the installed capacity of propylene from 470,000 tons per year to 490,000 tons per year, Py-Gas from 400,000 tons per year to 420,000 tons per year, and Mixed C4 from 315,000 tons per year to 330,000 tons per year.
This additional production capacity enables the company to serve the increasing demand for petrochemical products in Indonesia.
