PT Timah (Persero) Tbk is ready to accommodate people's tin ore mining to prevent "illegal mining" in the area is quite high. "We are ready to buy tin ore miners of the people if it meets the requirements of mining that have been established," said Corporate Secretary of PT Timah (Persero) Tbk Agung Nugroho in Pangkalpinang, Thursday (09/07/2015). Government of Bangka, Bangka Belitung Islands, tighten spending tin ore mining permits, particularly for marine areas.

"I'm going to tighten mining permit issued special tin ore in the marine waters of the region in anticipation of damage, especially in tourist areas," said Regent Bangka Tarmizi When in Sungailiat, Wednesday (28/05/2014).

He said the tourism sector is one of the excellent potential of Bangka regency, so it must be preserved from all threats.

"In the near future, we will create a tourism zone in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, so that later there is no mutual contact between the sectors with one another," he said.

He admitted less oversight of tin ore mining in the sea so that there is mining activity adjacent to the attraction. "We acknowledge the weakness of supervision for reasons of the public interest and other groups," he said.

During 2010 - 2013, Bangka regency government through the relevant agencies have issued 200 mining permits for all types of mining tin ore. "We will also re-evaluate the 200 IUP has been issued, to determine sejuah where mining activities are still allowed to proceed or otherwise," he said.

In terms of controlling the mining of tin ore which has no IUP, he said, is left entirely to the police and the civil service police force. "For mining operations that do not have official permission, of our local police to submit kepihak done aided by curbing civil service police force," he said.
