Since the implementation of work from home, the demand for information technology (IT) products, especially laptops and notebooks, has increased. This condition also increases the laptop business in the country. The International Data Center (IDC) estimates that the demand for IT equipment, including intelligence data and applications, will grow 12.3% this year compared to 2019. Until the second quarter of 2020, there was an 18.6% increase in demand for computers and laptops with total shipments 38.6 million units.

Laptop products will still be idolized during the pandemic. So that it also increases the business of laptop companies in Indonesia. To be able to achieve sales targets, several industry players collaborate with marketplaces and increase sales online.

PT Anabatic Technologies Tbk through its subsidiary PT Anabatic Digital Raya, today (19/7) signed an MoU with IBM Indonesia to provide breakthroughs in the financial industry using PocketBank. The signing is in order to assist financial business people in Indonesia in meeting the needs of branchless banking, e-money, mobile banking, customer applications, and insurance agent applications.

Director of Anabatic, Hendra Halim said that various companies have started to change business patterns with digital patterns, so with this background the company made PocketBank in Indonesia. Collaboration with IBM aims to make the application work well, so it needs a capable hardware and software device. Therefore, IBM Indonesia is involved in providing these devices in the form of IBM LinuxOne.
