Preparing a Competitive Electronics Industry: https://indonesia.go.id/kategori/editorial/5625/menyiapkan-industri-elektronika-yang-berdaya-saing?lang=1/13 September 2022 The electronics industry is one of the leading sectors. The government included this sector in the Making Indonesia 4.0 program, along with six other priority industrial sectors.
Apart from the electronics industry, which is also included in the flagship program are the food and beverage, textile and apparel, automotive, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and chemical industries. Similar to the other six industrial sectors, electronics is a priority because it is considered to have made a major contribution to the growth of the national industry, especially from the manufacturing and non-oil and gas groups. The increasingly competitive Indonesian electronics products, both in the domestic market and the global market, give confidence to new investors to enter Indonesia and invest, one of them, as did Daikin, through PT Daikin Industries Indonesia.
